Brownsover hall hotel is a stunning building, the grounds are extensive and are lovely for photo opertunities.
The rooms are satisfactory, not worth the higher mid week rate of £120 that I have known them to charge, but you can often get bargains on the website.
I have been to a few events here, the murder mystery event was very well done, and the food served was lovely, however the menu was a set 3 courses and you don't get a choice of anything else. The staff were touch and go, there are a few eastern europeans working here and therefore you cant always make sence of what they are saying and vice versa!
I almost chose brownsover hall for my wedding and the location was brilliant but I found the wedding co ordinator a little pushy and they wanted us to put down a large non refundable deposit before being able to tell us the price per head for the year we wanted to marry!!
Summary: Touch and go
