The Caledonian Hotel can be found in one of the prime locations in Edinburgh City Centre - on Princes Street, near the gardens (sort of), close to the shops and with a view of the castle. Alledgedly, this hotel is the choice of such luminaries as Sean Connery and Richard Wilson when they stay in the capital - when I was there, the best we had was Gazza, which was slightly disappointing.
