Chyvelah House is situated in an area of Truro called Gloweth. Now, this in itself is interesting to me, as I never realised Truro was broken up in this way. To me, the area in which this guesthouse is situated in is ‘Truro, up by the hospital’. It can be found on the main road out of Truro heading towards Treliske Hospital, before Truro College, and on the same side of the road. You can easily miss it, as it is set back from the road and the sign is not very prominent. However, there is a helpful feature that will help you find it: at the entrance to the drive, there are black, white and red bollards on each side. These bollards are more easily seen than the ...
