Went to the Copy Nook with friends on 22 Mar 2007. A very pretty location, excellent food, good choice, reasonable prices -

--but the staff!!

They couldn't wait to get rid of us. We arrived for lunch at 12.00 and were hassled to give our order immediately. But as we hadn't seen our friends for some time we didn't decide immediately so they pestered us until we gave in and ordered. Because we were still talking after we'd finished eating they stood in line behind the bar and glared balefully at us until we decided to pay up and go. The tactics certainly worked, their other customers who arrived well after us had long gone before we threw in the towel at just before 2.30.

Unfortunately two more diners arrived just before 2.00. I shudder to think what pressure they came under to finish up and go.

Not the place to go if you want a leisurely meal and you're easily intimidated.
