Newest Review: ... so doesn't get too noisy or feel too 'town-centre-ish'. The truth is though that there is no 'best thing' about the Crown. It is a lovely hotel which has nice big bathrooms and bedrooms, well furnished in a fairly modern style whilst retaining the character of the building. The beds are really comfy, the showers are powerful, the bar is nice, breakfast is a hot and cold buffet with a large variety of good quality ingredients. The prices seem very reasonable. I'm tempted to say that the best thing about the Crown Hotel in Harrogate is its location and its certainly true that it is in a great location. It is in the town centre literally a stone's throw from Harrogate's top attractions of Betty's and the Turkish Baths and very close to all the other amenities that the town has to offer. Despite this it is set just behind them so doesn't get too noisy or feel too 'town-centre-ish'. The truth is though that there is no 'best thing' about the Crown.
