I have spent three years of my life as a student in Nottingham, and therefore walked/stumbled by the Crowne Plaza on many occasions. The hotel also played a part in my graduation as this is where we collected our gowns. But despite this I had never stayed in the hotel until this summer when I was invited for an assessment day for a grad job at Boots. The hotel has its own multi story car park, but this is open to the public. This meant when I arrived on a very warm weekday afternoon the carpark was pretty busy and it was pretty difficult to find a space and quite a walk into the actual hotel with my heavy holdall. I stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago and would really recommend it. We paid £68 for one night including breakfast and overnight parking booked through late rooms. The usual rate for booking through their website is £83 a night for a standard double. It is a 4 star hotel located on Woolaton Street about 30 seconds walk to the town centre! There are plenty of trams and buses around to take you anywhere you fancy. It's about a 10 minute walk from Nottingham rail station.
