... they are always happy to deal with any queries that I may have. The rooms are large and modern, having undergone a recent redevelopment throughout the hotel. They all feature modern decor and comfortable furnishings and I always have a good nights sleep when staying here. There are the usual facilities in the room, large television, radio, desk, telephone and wifi connection available. The bathrooms are also large and are kept very clean with complimentary shampoo and soap etc provided. There is a large restaurant in ...more

Premium Review Crowne Plaza Manchester: High price, without the high standards! (958 words)

I recently stayed at this hotel at the beginning of July. It is located on Ringway Road, Manchester Airport and is literally across the road from Terminal 1 and around the corner from Terminal 3. There is a large car park operating on a ticket and barrier system and there is a 15 minute courtesy time allowed for people dropping customers off. Attached by a walkway is also access to a long stay car park which is where you can park your car if you are taking advantage of one of the hotels numerous parking offers. The entrance to the hotel is large and clean and the reception area is clearly visible. To the left of the entrance is also the bar and restaurant ...  Read the complete review

I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport prior to an early morning flight in Terminal One. I have stayed in numerous times now due to the location of the hotel and I have never yet been let down by their service. The reception area is large and welcoming and their are plenty of check in staff to assist in order to ensure that you are not waiting to long. Directions are clearly given to your room and you can pay cash for your room in advance or provide a credit card swipe. I always find the staff to be very courteous and polite and they are always happy to deal with any queries that I may have. The rooms are large and modern, having ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Best Hotel in central Manchester but... (168 words)

There's a lack of polish to the service in the room. My balcony had a take away Pizza box and chip box festering on it. You might get a biscuit to go with your coffee tray (but it might be powdered!). Other colleages didn't get coffee at all. Worst of all, one colleague had a complete stranger wander into her room at 3am, having been given a room card by reception who hadn't checked to make sure the room was free. A similar problem occured when we checked our reservations in advance to be told no-one had heard of them, when we gave our confirmation numbers, however, they miraculously found them. The staff in the cafe are variously very attentive to ...  Read the complete review
