Unfortunately when I stayed there a week or so ago the Foot and Mouth epidemic was playing havoc with local markets and more animals found there way to Great Orton MAFF disposal site 3 miles away than to the market. A single room cost £70 and the meal came to about £25 for two courses plus coffee. The Dalston Hall Hotel is good but what lets it down really is its situation.
