Advantages: Really good quality food. Good offers. BEST RIBS ON EARTH!

Disadvantages: Sometimes it can be quite busy.

Everyone must go to Damons. Its the nicest food. Its in Lincoln. As I used to live in Newark I used to go quite a lot, now I have moved I dont go there as often but I wish I could go more. It on the outside of Lincoln and you cant miss it. It looks like there are ribs coming out the top of it. Some people call it the Rib House. Ive never stayed or been into the Motel. But the food place is the best. The carpark is a good size.

When you first walk in, to the left of you is the toilets and baby changing room. And to the right is the front desk. You dont have to book in advanced but I do because at weekends it can get really busy. Infront of you is a circle looking part with a bar, some comfy tables and chairs. Thats the bit for waiting or just getting a drink and not eating. Sometimes also there are Chicken Wings with plates, you can eat them for free while you wait. Also later on in the evening they have a pianist, which is really nice and relaxing.

The drinks are an ok price, for a large coke though its nearly £3 which is pricey if you ask me. I imagine for a pint of lager its around the same price. For a J2O its about £2ish. But if you go between 4pm and 7pm on Monday to Saturday then the drinks are much cheaper. A J2O is about £1.10. I think the prices of drinks are great between these times. They also do Cocktails. Ive never had one but I see quite a lot of people having them so they must be good. I dont get them because they are quite expensive.

After waiting (sometimes you dont have to wait) you get taken to your table and given Menu's. They are really quick in Damons, as soon as a table leaves they are there with their spray a cloths cleaning the tables ready to get the next people in. They then bring hot fresh bread and butter. Which is really nice and free. Its very tasty, and I love it. But sometimes if Im really hungry I end up filling up on it. The menu has quite a lot of choice but my favourite is the ribs, thats what they are famous for! So definitely try them. If you go between 12pm and 6pm on Monday to Saturday there is a special menu where you can choose two things for just under £9. This is what I always go for. It has things like Ribs, Scampi, Chicken, Flavoured Chicken and many more things. I always have BBQ Ribs and Scampi. Thats my favourite and I have it everytime I go. Ive had the chicken before and didnt really like it. You dont have to choose off that special menu, you can choose off the normal menu. Also teh starters are really nice. They have an offer when you can choose 3 of a list fr £12. Obviously to share. We always get Potato skins filled with cheese and bacon. Its really nice, the best Ive had, but very filling. And greasy from all the cheese. When you order (the waitress/waiter comes to you) you get a choice of chips or jacket potato. I always have jacket potato, its really nice. Also they ask you if you want beans, peas or colslaw at no extra cost. The staff really go out their way to please you.

You dont have to wait very long for the food, its really quick at Damons and they try and get people in and out really quick. The staff go out their way to please you, I always tip at Damons. Its the only place I do. I thnk most people do. I dont tip a lot. But they are very grateful for anything. The staff are always coming asking if everything is ok. Which is always is. I never liked ribs before Damons, so even if you think you dont like them, give them a try. Im sure you'll end up loving them like me!

When your finished they come and ask you if you would like desert, Im usually very stuffed so Ive never had desert. The ribs are so nice. Everyone orders them. After you've finished and decided whether you want desert or not, they bring you the bill. You can pay by card, but you have to tell them so they can bring the card machine to you. The bill for me and my boyfriend usually is about £25 which is a very decent price. Although we dont have starters anymore because its too filling.

It can be quite busy in here and the tables are quite close together. It can be very noisy so prepare for that!

You can also get take out from Damons. You can ring up and order and then go and collect. They dont delivery. They have a take out menu which has all the same stuff on but I think its discounted price. There are also lots of other deals they do. If you go on your birthday your meal is free and you get a free cake. If your over 60 you get a certain deal. Also kids under 12 get a free meal. You cant go wrong really. It ends up being cheap. You might as well go on your birthday as its free. I definitely recommend Damons. Please get the ribs!

**Update: 17/10/11** Last week I went to Damons and because we went during Cocktail happy hour both me and my boyfriend decided to have a none alcoholic cocktail. The none alcoholic drinks are cheaper anyway, but it was half price because it was happy hour. Which is 4 till 7 on weekdays. We also had our first ever Damons desert. We had Almondy Snickers cake. It was delicious. It was £5.20 for a reasonable sized slice. I loved it. But later discovered you can buy it in the supermarkets for £2.99 for a whole cake! Great!

Summary: Best food ever!
