Advantages: Ver cheap and reasonable accommodation
Disadvantages: Not enough room to swing a cat
Ive now stayed in this hotel in Liverpool twice. Its located by Albert dock which is about a five minute taxi ride away from the city centre and cost about £3.50 each way. The hotel only costs £34.00 per room per night. It has a double bed in the room with a single bunk bed on top, therefore sleeps three people unless you manage to get another in the cupboard. The bed only have one pillow per person and the bedding is very hard (So watch for friction burns!!!). The room is very small but still has a w/c and shower. The television has basic SKY channels, whcih is handy for watching Johnny Bravo cartoons after a night on the town. The hotel has a car park and a restauant for breakfast. The bar is expensive but the staff are very friendly.I would recommend this 2 star basic hotel as a stop over hotel if you are after a night on the beer.I wouldnot recommend it for children as it can be very noisy of a night when the pubs shut.

- 28/02/01 I've passed this hotel many times and wondered what it's like. Now I know. However, with the Campagnile right next door and not a lot more expensive, I think I would stay there. We've used them often in France and I stayed at the one in Redditch. They are very good and extremely consistant. |
