An impressive looking building just off the M25, south of the Dartford river crossing. Easy to find from the onsite directions which is always a bonus.

The hotel car park is large, well marked and appeared to be maintained to a high standard. The entrance to the hotel itself was extremely clean and clear of any visible rubbish or debris, not bad going for a hotel on a busy road junction.

The reception desk was manned with 2 uniformed assistants, both polite and chatty, booking in was a breeze and within minutes I was walking along what appeared to be freshly painted and freshly carpeted hallways.

I had a ground floor double room, the standard double bed, bed side tables, desk, draws and hanging space were all present and correct and spotlessly clean. The tea/coffee making tray was well stocked and nicely presented too. Extra pillows and towels were available in the wardrobe area.

The bathroom, looking freshly tiled and painted consisted of a walk in shower, basin and loo, again all clean and fresh with plenty of soap, shampoo and loo roll.

Climate control in the bedroom along with a very comfortable bed made for a decent nights sleep with little noise filtering in from outside even with an open window.

Continental breakfast was served in the bar/dining area the next morning, everything was laid out in a buffet style serving area which was clean, well stocked and monitored by 2 members of staff who restocked items and cleared tables efficiently.

Checking out was just a matter of handing back the key card - simple and quick.

An outstanding quick turn-around hotel.

Summary: A wonderous little gem of a hotel, great for acess into London or shopping at Lakeside.
