Advantages: Location and good bar.

Disadvantages: No on site car parking and can be bothered with outside noise.

I have stayed here a couple of times and love the location, but have been bothered by outside noise.

The rooms we have had have not been huge, though they were the cheaper rooms but are well equipped. If you upgrade your room you do get many extras like cd players, mezzanine levels but you will pay considerably more for this. Personally I wouldnt bother as there are are hotels in Glasgow that I find more comfortable. The rooms here are very modern in their theme and may not be to everyone's taste.

I do however like the bar in this hotel, it tends to be quite busy with large glass window so great for people watching. The bar food is good too, so I would recommend popping in for a drink, especially if going to the Cineworld cinema or the Royal Concert Hall which are on the doorstep along with the bus station and Buchanan Galleries shopping centre.

Breakfasts are buffet style and are tasty and I couldnt really fault them. There is no on site car parking but there is an NCP car park accross the road, this can be a bit pricey though.

So if you are not a light sleeper or want to spend more to upgrade your room, this hotel will be fine. Do check around for prices though as they can vary considerably.

Summary: Great if not a light sleeper or are used to inner city noise.
