Location - The Golden Tulip Hotel Manchester is located directly opposite Old Trafford Football Ground. It has easy access links into the City Centre and is within walking distance of many attractions such as The Manchester United Museum and Tour, Imperial War Museum and the Lowry Mall. It is located several minutes from the M60 and there is the Metrolink Tram System near the hotel which will take you directly into the city centre. It is five minutes by car to the Trafford Centre and 5 minutes walk to the Lowry shopping outlet which offers free parking if you purchase something there. Arrival - If arriving by car, depending on whether you arrive on a match day or ... Read the complete review

I was therefore delighted to learn that they had been taken over by Golden Tulip and were to have a refit before my stay. I was less delighted when I arrived, at 7:30 on a match day to find that the hotel had been re-branded as ‘The Manchester United Hotel’. Obviously as no MUFC fans seem to come from Manchester or the surrounding area they need an increasing number of rooms in which to store the ‘loyal fan base’. I was ... Read the complete review
