Gosforth Park Hotel

The location is right next to the race course so if you are going to an event at the race course it's a good place to stay. It also has good road links and is just off the main A19 road and is very easy to find as it is signposted clearly from this road. The hotel itself has become shabby over recent years. It gives the impression of being a good hotel over 10 years ago but now could do with some care , attention and updating. Gosforth Park is located in the countryside just outside of Newcastle, which makes it a nice peaceful retreat for a weary traveller. I've always found this hotel very comfortable and welcoming. This makes a change as a lot of these type of hotels are full of business men in suits, that's not to say Gosforth park doesn't have it's fair share of them but to say that the hotel has taken into consideration that business men are not their only clients (I even saw David Ginola there once).
