The location is right next to the race course so if you are going to an event at the race course it's a good place to stay. It also has good road links and is just off the main A19 road and is very easy to find as it is signposted clearly from this road.

The hotel itself has become shabby over recent years. It gives the impression of being a good hotel over 10 years ago but now could do with some care , attention and updating.

The rooms are a decent size but décor and furniture look tired and could do with modernising. Saying that the rooms are clean.

The hotel is value for money proving you get a good deal, or take an advantage of a special room rate. If you get standard hotel prices I would say its expensive for what you get.

The service at the hotel is good, however the public areas look a bit tired, they are kept clean but the carpets look stained , worn and furniture and pait work is scuffed.
