The location is not good for those who are going to London to oarty but is perfect for those who are interested in the more touristy side. It was particularlt good for us as my bofriend is an architect and could get great photos of building which are of interest to him. ===exterior=== Made entirely of glass the hotel ... more

I cannot fault a thing with this hotel, the only concern was that they gave a room quote price when we arrived which was different from the one when we booked. This was quickly sorted and we were given 20% of our food and drink during our stay due to this (which is as well because the prices in London are skyhigh!) which we made the most of. ===Location=== The hotel is a one minute walk from St Pauls cathedral. Me and my boyfriend managed to walk to the Shard, The Globe, The Tower Bridge and obviosly the cathedral over a two hour walk along by the river Thames. My boyfriend and I stayed here at the beginning of March 2010 for our birthdays. We booked through lastminute.com's "top secret hotel" offer and got the hotel for £100 a night which was pretty impressive for a 5* in London. We had never heard of the Grange hotels before so weren't sure what to expect. The nearest tube station to the hotel is Blackfriars which we later found out is literally a two minute walk from the hotel. However, Blackfriars is currently closed so we took the tube to Mansion House. We don't know London at all, so took about 20 minutes walking around until eventually we found Godliman Street. I booked this hotel through Lastminute.com secret sales, and for the small sum of £89, I had a nice room and breakfast included. Luckily, reception wasn't too busy when I arrived. I was shown in by a friendly doorman, and seen to immediately. I declined the offer of paying a deposit to have the minibar available; the prices are prohibitive to say the least. I know some rooms have a view into the impressive atrium of the building, and some look out onto St Paul's Cathedral. Mine just looked over a side street, but that was ok. I loved the thick, luxurious drapes which kept the room gorgeously dark, cosy and certainly helped to soundproof it. The room is ... Read the complete review

My partner and I recently stayed in the Grange St Pauls just over Christmas due to my work Christmas party and we certainly enjoyed it! Price We got the room through Lastminute.com and it was one of their "secret hotels" which you can generally find out what it is with a simple google search. We payed £115 for the room on a Saturday night which we thought was a great price considering the time of year and the fact that it is a 5* hotel. Location The hotel is located quite literally across from St Paul's cathedral and has 3 very convenient tube stops nearby - St Paul's (Central Line), Mansion House (Circle & ...
