Newest Review: ... had a private bathroom. There are a few steps to go in, but if you think the stairs could be a problem, then they do have rooms downstairs. We arrived about lunchtime and pressed the buzzer. Viv greeted us and showed us around, giving us a key and showing us to our room. The room had a double and a single bed and an en suite bathroom which had a shower, basin and lavatory. The room décor was discreet, a floral duvet cover with light coloured walls and furnishings. During last year's bank holiday weekend we had plans to meet a group of friends and go to Oxford for an event. Another friend who had visited recently recommended this B & B to us, so we decided to book it. Heather House is run by the lovely Viv, and is situated on Iffley Road which comes out of central Oxford. To walk to the edge of town (Magdalen Bridge) took 10-15 minutes, and a further 10 minutes walk meant you were at Carfax Tower in the heart of the town. Nearby Cowley Road has shops and places to eat and is only 5-7 minutes walk. I booked over the telephone, about a month before, and took the last room.
