We have stayed at this hotel several times and we always book a family room when there are special offers on. Most of the offers I have found on teletext.

I find this a really good hotel for visiting Edinburgh. You will need a car for this hotel as its about 10-15 minutes drive to the centre. There is a public bus service into the town centre but Edinburgh is very cold and it would be misearable waiting for buses.

The restaurant is good and I would recommend getting a deal that includes evening meal. Children can eat for about £5.

The beds are a bit hard. So if you're used to posturepaedic this is'nt the place for you.

The swimming pool is good and free to guests. It is split down the centre. One side for children, floats and adults. The other side for people who want to swim lengths.

It has a jaccuzzi but it is part of the pool water and is freezing. There is a steam room and sauna. The steam room is my favourite. The showers are good and plenty of hairdryers. They give you towel on entry. They also have extra treatments you pay for massage etc.

Plenty of car parking for £5 every 24 hours.
If you get a good deal a great place for a visit to Edinburgh.
