I'm not sure whether my expectations were too high, or whether we were just there on the wrong day, but our experience at the Hilton wasn't overwhelming. They didn't have our booking on arrival, and did not deal with this problem particularly well. They took a tone which implied we must have booked it wrong, despite having a print out of our booking confirmation. This all got sorted and we eventually got a room, so in the end it all worked out. The next issue arose when we went to order room service. 3 items on a not so hug menu were not available, and the food that did arrive was dry, not overly hot; but it was edible so i shouldn't complain too much.

In the scheme of things, these aren't huge issues and we still had a nice time. But, I was expecting that for the money they charge, maybe we could expect better customer service, and just a better service overall. For the money we paid we did not feel we got value for money and thus won't be returning in a hurry.

Summary: They charge a lot of money and don't give anything exceptional for that money.
