Advantages: food is nice

Disadvantages: small rooms

I booked this hotel over the phone via a deal from teletext (£159 for 2 people b&b and dinner on the 1st night).

The hotel runs a shuttle service from the nearest tube station which is handy as its quite a way away from the hotel.

When we arrived i thought the enterance and reception areas were a little tired and boring looking. The staff were pleasent though and we got our room key.

The room was a real disappointment - tiny (you could barely fit a double bed in), cramped bathroom with poor facilities and the view was appalling - straight onto a block of flats. This was definately the worst hotel room ive stayed in for the money.

Dinner was very nice and we enjoyed a lovely 3 course meal, service was also very good.

After dinner we had a few drinks in the bar - this was a lovely place to drink - modern, comfortable with views over the river towards canary wharf.

Breakfast was again lovely and the Whiskey for the poridge was a particularly nice touch.

Overall wouldnt recommend this hotel as i think theres better places to stay in London. It is a little out of the way and the rooms arnt big enough to swing a cat in. I would avoid.

Summary: aviod and try somewhere else
