great start to a holiday (Hilton Manchester Airport)

Advantages: fantastic way to get your holiday started

Disadvantages: a bit pricey

We booked to stay here the night before we flew out to America in October. We had chosen an unnamed hotel on the internet which turned out to be the hilton - quite a bargain as the same website was offering the hilton at £40 more expensive. On arrival we parked in the car park and at check in handed over our keys for the car, which was then taken as some point to the secure car park ready for our return. Our room was excellent, looked like it had been recently refurbished and was very modern and clean. Having had a long journey we decided to treat ourselves to a meal in the hotel that evening. Being an airport hotel we didn't really expect too much and boy were we surprised. The menu wasn't huge but the quality and service were fantastic. Next morning breakfast was buffet style which suited us both as I don't like to eat much before I fly but my other half always likes to eat! Breakfast was also included in the price so w edidn't need to fork out for expensive rubbish at the airport. If flying from Manchester again - or even if visiting the trafford centre the hilton would be my first choice
