I stayed at this hotel just before Christmas and it is one of my favourite hotels to stay in, in the whole of Ireland, simply because the staff are friendly, the room was nice and there is a swimming pool and sauna room for use of guests.

The room was quite big and held two decent sized double beds and a sitting area, the bathroom was clean and tidy alike the rest of the room and the room was decorated with fresh nuetral colours. There was a large tv in our room and a host of different channels including some sky channels like Cartoon Network and Sky News.

There is a pool that is shared between guests, a sauna room and also a gym in this hotel that guests can use during the opening times. The facilities are of great standard and there are goggles and swim caps for sale in a shop located in the hotel (though the merchaindise are not cheap).

The cost of a room is around £80 til £125 a night depending on when you stay. I stayed for £80 because of a special deal that was on coming up to Christmas, and I really got my moneys worth out of it.

There is also a golf course near this hotel which is another reason why it was attractive for my partener to stay, there is a fee for visitors to play on the course though I didnt play on it myself I dont know all the details about it, though my partener said he had a great time on the golf course and that he would go back at the time.

The bar in this hotel was filled with friendly staff and had a good atmosphere in it which is always great when you are looking a relaxing drink when you are away for a night, there is sandwhiches served regular in the hotel and there is also a nice menu during dinner time that caters for most tastes.

Overall I thought this hotel was a great place to stay and recommend to all those golfers out there and also to anyone who needs a good relaxing break. The service, room and activities that I took part in were all top class and I plan to stay in the Hilton Templepatrick again.
