I booked this through Hotels.com and it was £49 booking about 2 months in advance. I also got cashback through quidco making it a really good deal.

I arrived at 1am having called before to make sure it was ok and when I arrived there was someone on the reception desk. They had my key card ready in seconds and I was in the bed and asleep 10 mins later. As it was a really brief stop as I just used the hotel as being a stop off to get to somewhere else the next day I didnt really get to see any more facilities in the hotel.

My room was quite large, clean, had a massive bed and a nice touch which was the pillows had a label stating they were firm and that I should see reception if I wanted a different style.

I also had some freebie toiletries which were quite nice and tea, coffee and hot chocolate. There was a mini kettle and a mini bar but I didnt touch that as you have to pay for it.

The room was clean, had a large widescreen tv which I had to turn off at the socket as it turned on every time I walked past it.

The bed was very firm and comfortable, although it was a saturday night the hotel was silent and I got a great nights sleep.

The only complaint would be the shower water pressure was useless and the fan didnt do a great job at getting the steam out.

Parking is free outside and theres a petrol station next door which was very reasonably priced.

My room was on the ground floor but I felt safe and when I left at 8am there was again someone on reception to check me out quickly. I had no extras and had already paid for the room on the hotels.com website so I was straight out.

For a short stay it was very good and it was great that they were so organised and I could get to bed as soon as I got there.

I would use them again at the same cheap rate.
