I was actually browsing the Dooyoo catalogue for another hotel and came across the Holiday Inn Oxford Circus and chuckled to myself. I had completely forgotten that I had stayed here, however my experience was not really that unforgettable due to it being littered with, well let's call them incidents. First time I stayed in this hotel I expected it, not unreasonably, to be very adjacent to Oxford Circus; but it's not; I don't really know why they have chosen to describe it in such a way. If you know Oxford Street, the hotel is located in a quiet Edwardian terrace on Welbeck Street which is behind Debenhams and a five minute walk will take you from the hotel to Oxford Street but you will need to walk another 10 minutes, at least, to reach Oxford Circus. Right now that I've got that bit out of my system, I'll give you some facts; nearest underground station is Bond Street on the Central and Jubilee lines, within 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
