Newest Review: ... that the room was not as nice as I had expected.I felt it was a little on the small side, but maybe this was to be expected leaving booking to the last minute! Being a cold wintry weekend we wanted to make the most of the hotels facilities, so spent quite a lot of the day in the spa and swimming pool. There is a steam room, sauna and good sized swimming pool which was not too crowded. A little disappointing is that the spa shuts at 8pm, however this is a family hotel so to be expected. For a treat for my boyfriend I chose to whisk him away for a romantic weekend in Edinburgh, and chose a hotel within close proximity of Princes Street with spa and gym facilities. On arriving at the hotel we had to wait a while for our room to be ready so decided to have a drink in the bar. This was pleasant and the hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. When we were given our card for our room, I was a little dissappointed to discover that the room was not as nice as I had expected.I felt it was a little on the small side, but maybe this was to be expected leaving booking to the last minute!
