We needed somewhere to stay when we decided to spend the weekend at Alton Towers. We could have stayed at the on site hotel but this is very expensive and therefore I thought I would have a little look on the travelodge website to see what they could offer. I noticed that they were having a sale so typed in Alton Towers postcode to see what came up. There were a number of travelodges in the 30 miles surrounding Alton Towers, all varying in price from £70 a night for a family room to £29. We knew we would have the car anyway and none of these were exactly on the doorstep of Alton Towers so we decided to go for the Burton travelodge which was the cheapest option at £29 Read the complete review
