My boyfriend bought us tickets to go see Grease in the west-end for my 21st birthday. Been a typical male, I was left to book the hotel. As you would guess, there are hundreds and hundreds of hotels in London. I finally settled on this hotel, Travelodge London Tower Bridge. We paid £49 for a double room for one night, cheap for a hotel in the capital. From what I have read rooms do go cheaper but I spent months monitoring prices and never so them go down. From what I have read, I believe the hotel is quite a recent development. I have stayed at this Travellodge 3 times now and find it to be one of the best Travellodges i have stayed in! It is within easy walking distance from London liverpool Street train station (approx 10 minutes) which means it is also a great place to stay if your wanting to come to London for a night or day out. I was a little worried when i first stayed here as it is situated right next to a train line, however suprisingly i found that i was not awoken once by trains throughout the night! The travellodge its self is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and there is a nice atmosphere. There is a bar downstairs that also serves breakfast ...  Read the complete review
