 ... originally it was supposed to have a pitched roof with dormers but this wasn't built which is strange. Armagh did need a hotel and this one seems to do quite a business, it has now established itself and now always seems to be busy, it did seem touch and go at the beginning with it usually being very sparcely populated. Armagh City Hotel is a large hotel and leisure centre situated in the historic city of Armagh in Northern Ireland. Sitting on the edge of the Palace demense and beside a main road, the hotel is ideally sitauted for visiting the city. A slightly odd looking boxy looking building, it was supposedly styled to fit in with the georgian buildings of the city, mainly it looks odd as it has a flat roof, originally it was supposed to have a pitched roof with dormers but this wasn't built which is strange.
