Advantages: Comfy, Clean , close to Motorway

Disadvantages: no good if no car

This hotel is situated on the M8 20 miles from Edinburgh at Junction 3a at the Boghall roundabout.It is a 10 min drive to McArthur Glen Shopping Centre Designer outlet in Livingstone.

Reception.
Clean bright and modern with phones, tourist information,sofas. More importantly the people working here have a smile as warm as the welcome you would want for yourself.

The Rooms.
All rooms are equiped with tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone, in room movies, satellite channels, hairdryers and a computer connection point.The beds were really comfy and have a Duvet and extra pillows.The bathroom has a shower cubicle and toilet with a clever door arrangement that allows someone to go the toilet and the other to shower at the same time in privacy.All toiletries are available soap and shower wash are free in the bathroom any others if forgotten are available in the reception.

Restaurant.
There is really only a breakfast room with a continental buffet available from 6am to 11am.Cereals, yoghurt,fruit, cheeses,breads, croissants.This is included in the room price.
Even though Breakfast is the only meal in the hotel next door is a Beafeater style Pub/Restaurant with full menu for lunches and dinners.


Overall impression a good value for money (at £39.99 per room per night )place to stay with really helpful staff.
Close enough to Edinburgh and the great Shopping Experience in Livingstone.BUT you must have a CAR to enjoy this place.
