The Copthorne Hotel in Newcastle is situated in an excellent position overlooking the River Tyne. It enjoys a quiet spot whilst only being a five minute walk to the city centre.

Bedrooms are modern, roomy, tastefully furnished and all have views over the river. Some rooms have small balconies. They have all the usual toiletries and tea making facilities. A trouser press and hair dryer are also supplied. An iron and ironing board can be requested.

Harry's Bar is an informal restaurant providing a wide choice of food and on a recent visit a two course evening meal only set us back £8.00 per person if you dined before 8pm on their special "8 before 8" promotion. For those requiring a more intimate evening La Rivage restaurant offers more formal dining.
