      GIVE IT A GO

I know its no hotel but I really wanted to write about this place to stay in Norfolk. So instead of a hotel I am giving you a holiday park instead, however this is someware to stay. Any way getting to the point.......

Kelling heath is in Norfolk near Cromer just past Hunstanton. Kelling heath is a holiday park set in a beautiful English country woodland about 200 acres, miles away from a main road. It's like nothing you've ever seen before in England.

      ----------MY EXPERIENCE...........

I first visited Kelling Heath 4 years ago and I have been there every year since at least 2 times each year.

When I first got there I couldn't believe how beautiful it was but my first impression was that I thought I was going to be board out of my mind so I went and had a look around the park and realized that there is a lot more to do there than I first thought.

      ------THE PARKS ENTERTAINMENT........

-There is an outdoor bar area which in the summer they have various bands on and other entertainment.

-An indoor bar and restaurant which also holds entertainment of some kind throughout the year for children early in the evening and adult entertainment later in the evening.

      - Leisure centre which has a gym, swimming pool & sauna + Jacuzzi

      - Outdoor pool which is only open at peak seasons.

      - Bike hire at just £5 per 48 hours ( but I think it's more at peak seasons)

      - An adults only bar and resteraunt.

      - Fishing (£5 per day) you will need a license.

      - Nature trail which can be guided in the summer.

      - Tennis.

      - Take away restaurant.

      You have a choice of
      -Log cabins.

      - Mobile homes

-Or can even pitch a tent or caravan of your own.

I have done all of these options and enjoyed every experience.

LOG CABBIN.....sleeps up to 8 people with a dining area kitchen and living room. It is a bit expensive but it can sleep up to 8 people and can cost you around £200 - £300 for a long weekend or midweek break or £250 - £550 for a weeks stay, with the log cabin you will receive a free pass for the leisure centre for the whole stay. (Includes TV)

MOBILE HOME.....sleeps up to 8 with a dining area & lounge. This is more of a reasonable rate at £150 - £285 for a long weekend or £235 - £355 for a full week. (Includes a TV, cooker, fridge freezer)

PITCHING A TENT ..... Very cheep starting from £5 - £10 per night and the longer you stay the more discount you will receive. (Includes an electric point)

FOOD.....the menus are affordable and not over priced ( you get what you pay for) I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO POINT OUT THAT THERE IS A WIDE CHOICE OF FOOD ON THE MENUE FROM PIZZA TO SEAFOOD & A CHOICE OF KIDS FOOD.

      -------WOULD I RECOMEND?-----

YES I would recommend this for a British holiday but I would say that it is best for family holidays for parents with young children or a quiet relaxing weekend away with your other half.

I love this place so much that I am going here for my honeymoon in June this year for a whole week & I'm staying in a mobile home as I prefer them compared to the log cabins & I can see myself still going to Kelling Heath for years to come.
