Advantages: There is something for everyone and every budget

Disadvantages: You may choose the wrong one to stay at !!!

Well Rugby is my home town, and i have lived there for the last 28 years so I know just about everything there is to know about my loverly hometown (unfortunatly...hehe)

There is a great selection of hotels and also a lot of diversity in the choice you can make.

If you are wanted history then stay at Brownsover hall, I have wrote another reveiw on this hotel...... but in summary its a gothic manor house and is gorgeous, Its definatly the best hotel in the area as far as venue, grounds and higher class food.

If you want to be close to everything, and in the centre then i would recommend The Three Horse Shoes Hotel, its in the centre of town, so is not exactly a quiet venue but the atmospere inside is really cosy and the food is really nice, proper english food. Its also very affordable, i think my friends paid 45 gbp bed and breakfast when they stayed there about four months ago.

There are also a holiday inn express and a holiday inn, so they are pretty much the same as any other you would stay in around the uk.

There is another hotel worth mentioned called the Grosvenor, its just on the outskirts of the centre of town, and is made up of about four town house, the reason i mention this hotel is that the staff are great, and they always have a great selection of desserts....no is not something you would probally choose a hotel over....but they do a Apple pie and ice cream that i have never experienced from any other restaurant its loverly.....also they have a great conferencing service - if i remember correctly the room rate for a double room and breakfast is about 75 gbp.

Rugby has a great selection of hotels and has one for everybody.

Summary: Have a good look around and i would also recommend that you haggle the prices over the phone!!
