Newest Review: ... that the Strathtummel surroundings are the main attraction, and nothing should detract from the magnificent views from almost every window. But dont worry, guest's comfort is not compromised in any way as all rooms have private facilities, full central heating and all the usual mod cons. The comfort here is not luxurious but is more than adequate. The inn makes full use of the local produce of the area, and actively encourages local people and local customs to become part of its charm. The Loch Tummel inn in Pitlochry lies in the heart of Scotlands best countryside. With extensive views of the loch and the mountains, it makes a nice get-away, even if the weather goes against you! The old coaching inn has good-size rooms which are tastefully decorated and very clean. The owner of the hotel, Michael Marsden, has televisions for every room and will be happy to supply them on request. However, he and his wife Liz believe that the Strathtummel surroundings are the main attraction, and nothing should detract from the magnificent views from almost every window.
