We ate at the restaurant for our wedding anniversary Friday 10-10-08. Thinking it would be a pleasant experience. It was not.
The wife wanted a glass of rose' none available. We asked for a medium sweet, only had dry. The barman took our food order then took me to the reception to pay upfront.
When we sat in the restaurant the receptionist came over to tell me my main order, "lamb" was finished. We were the only 2 people in the restaurant.
The wife wanted to cut and run but I said we would stay, big mistake.
The starter came and went; we both left our main course, not pleasant.
The assistant manager did know it was our anniversary, he came over said sorry gave us a bottle of the dry white to take home and deducted the price of one meal.
Evening completely ruined went home hungry.
Next meal out is going to be a carvery.
Summary: NOT GOING BACK
