I stayed at the IBIS one night when I was on a girly night out. There were not any twin beds therefore we were provided with a double bed and a bed that was on a kind of shelf!! Saying that you don't notice it so much when you stumble back to the hotel after a night out. The Ibis is about 5/10min walk from the centre of coventry and is quite well situated for pubs and clubs. We entered in to the reception, it was quite busy as this hotel also checks in people going to the formule one hotel which is the bargain basement hotel at the otherside of the car park. I've stayed in this hotel on two occasions now, and have mixed feelings after the second visit. I'll explain in a minute. The hotel is situated about 5 minutes walk from Coventry city centre, probably about 10 minutes walk from most of the pubs, and 15 minutes stagger from Coventry's clubs. As such, it's a well-placed hotel, just outside the ringroad, for east access to everywhere. Inside the hotel is pleasant, a bit "chain-hotelly" which is what it is, but it's nice.
