Advantages: cheap

Disadvantages: formule one check in at same desk

I stayed at the IBIS one night when I was on a girly night out. There were not any twin beds therefore we were provided with a double bed and a bed that was on a kind of shelf!! Saying that you don't notice it so much when you stumble back to the hotel after a night out.

The Ibis is about 5/10min walk from the centre of coventry and is quite well situated for pubs and clubs. We entered in to the reception, it was quite busy as this hotel also checks in people going to the formule one hotel which is the bargain basement hotel at the otherside of the car park. Our room was £49 for the night which was good value for the city centre.

The room was clean and the shower was lovely, It was a kind of capsule bathroom/shower room so there was only enough room for one person to use the bathroom at the time.

We ate there in the evening before going out, we just had jacket potatoes and they were not too bad, we also ate at the early hours of the morning and I think we had pizza and icecream but I can't confirm what the food was like do to our drunken state!!

All in all its not a bad hotel for a cheap price.

Summary: Suitable for a girls night out but not a family get away.
