In the hotel there was a bar and seated area where you could have drinks and snacks, breakfast is also served here from 04:00am until noon. Snacks are available from the bar/reception 24 hours. Premium Review Ibis Hotel Manchester: Cheap and cheerful (1055 words)

~*~*~First Impressions~*~*~ Our first impressions were great. The hotel is located on a busy street in the heart of Chinatown, Manchester. The reception was clean and tidy and the hotel certainly came across as a quality place to stay. An absolute bargain!! The reception was modern, quite contemporary in style with a bar area to the left. It was very welcoming. ~*~*~Rooms~*~*~ The hotel has 127 rooms. I believe that the rooms in Ibis hotels are very standard and all look the same - this tends to be the norm with hotels of this type. About The Ibis There are ...  Read the complete review

It’s a sad indictment of Britain that our hotels have such a poor reputation amongst the visitors to our shores. Now, I know that’s something of a generalisation and I accept that there are exceptions. However, as a rule, British hotels are poor value for money and far from up to International standards of quality. It’s all the more ga[u]lling (sorry about that) that we have the French to thank for showing us how it should be done. If there is one nation on Earth that knows how to do hotels (other than the Yanks), it’s the French. Anywhere you go in France you find chains of hotels that offer great value for money. Many of these are over here as ...  Read the complete review
