Newest Review: ... you take a wrong turning Sat Navs can go a bit haywire in city centres while they pick the signal back up and you can end up a bit lost, like we did on one occasion and ending up driving around the one-way system for 15 minutes, so go slowly. Parking: There is a car park pretty much opposite the hotel, but be careful as it is very expensive and will cost around £16 for 24 hours. There are a couple of other car parks only a few minutes walk which are more like £4 for 24 hours, so definitely worthwhile finding one of them. If you want a no-frills cheap hotel in a good central location then this is the right choice for you. I've given it 4 stars based on how well it met what I wanted rather than the quality of the hotel. Location: Ibis Nottingham is right in the city centre, only a few minutes walk from The Lace Market - one of the most popular areas in Nottingham for bars, chain restaurants etc. Therefore if you are going for a city break involving nightlife and shopping this would be a good location for you.
