The facilities at the hotel are good, there is both an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool, the indoor one is very small so if you want a real swim you have to use the outdoor pool. There is also a spa, steam room and sauna, plus a mini gym. We used these facilities towards the end of the day and it was lovely and quiet, we had the pool to ourselves a lot of the time. I stayed in the Jarvis Cooden Beach hotel for a weekend away taking advantage of their special offer prices for weekend breaks in June. I chose this hotel because it was in a quiet village and so would provide a relaxing break, it was by the sea which made it all the more appealing and it was in a location within easy reach of various tourist attractions. The location of the hotel is excellent, easy to find it is in Cooden, just next to Bexhill on Sea. It's right next door to Cooden train station making it easy to get to if you don't have a car.
