I stayed in this hotel recently as I was on my way to Scotland. The hotel is really close to the train station, literally a 5 minute walk. The first thing you notice as you walk into the hotel is the reception - which is big. This hotel is newly built so it smells nice too! The rooms are nice, big and clean. Despite this hotel being a high-rise there is minimal upstairs noises and we enjoyed a good night's sleep. The hotel is also close to the city centre (on the southern side of the city) and definitely within walking distance. We had breakfast there too - not cheap but very good! I stayed at the Jury's Inn Nottingham recently while on a friend's stag do. The best man booked everything through a company called chili sauce that organises hen and stag weekends. The hotel was all part of the package. It is what I would describe as stag and hen friendly! Chili Sauce must send a lot of hens and stags here, as there were at least 5 others there when we were. Obviously therefore because of that, this hotel is probably not where you want to take your beloved to for a romantic break or your family for a quiet relaxing weekend.
