Jury's Inn (Nottingham) Hotel National

Newest Review: ... The closest hotel to Nottingham train station is Jury's Inn. We entered the lobby looking a state among all the stag and hen parties who were milling around. £87 gets you a last minute double room with no wifi or breakfast which is pricey by any standard but we were desperate! The room was immaculate and a good size with a tv which had all the standard Freeview channels with good reception. The room also had a kettle with a standard selection of tea, coffee and decaf coffee. I got rather excited by the fact they had Twinnings Everyday tea. There was also a hairdryer which I didn't use. There wasn't a radiator in the room which would ha... more

Last Saturday (2/2/2012) myself and my partner's parents drove from Lincoln to Stoke to see a football match. On the way back it started to snow heavily but we ploughed on through, what was a 3 hour journey took us 5 hours just to get us to Nottingham (an hour from Lincoln) by which point the snow was so bad that people were abandoning their cars. The snow storm was terrible, a 30 min walk to the train station revealed that there were no more trains to Lincoln - we were stuck and we needed a hotel room. The closest hotel to Nottingham train station is Jury's Inn. We entered the lobby looking a state among all the stag and hen parties who were milling around. ...  Read the complete review

I have stayed at this hotel a handfull of times both during the week and at weekends. It is centrally located really close to Nottingham Train Station and perfect for a stroll in to the City Centre for a meeting. You approach the hotel accross a paved plaza with offices, apartments and the hotel surrounding it. There is a canal behind the hotel too which is nice for a walk after dinner (only in the summer, its a bit dark in the winter). The hotel foyer is all marble with huge pillars supporting the floor above. To your right is the restaurant which serves a great range of evening meals and some nice wines to accompany them. To the left is the ...  Read the complete review

I stayed in this hotel recently as I was on my way to Scotland. The hotel is really close to the train station, literally a 5 minute walk. The first thing you notice as you walk into the hotel is the reception - which is big. This hotel is newly built so it smells nice too! The rooms are nice, big and clean. Despite this hotel being a high-rise there is minimal upstairs noises and we enjoyed a good night's sleep. The hotel is also close to the city centre (on the southern side of the city) and definitely within walking distance. We had breakfast there too - not cheap but very good! One thing to note though - make sure the room you are staying in has heating! It was in ...  Read the complete review

I stayed at the Jury's Inn Nottingham recently while on a friend's stag do. The best man booked everything through a company called chili sauce that organises hen and stag weekends. The hotel was all part of the package. It is what I would describe as stag and hen friendly! Chili Sauce must send a lot of hens and stags here, as there were at least 5 others there when we were. Obviously therefore because of that, this hotel is probably not where you want to take your beloved to for a romantic break or your family for a quiet relaxing weekend. That is not to say that the hens and stags had the run of the palce or were running around going crazy, but even ...  Read the complete review
