Advantages: good location Disadvantages: heating not working when we went!
I stayed in this hotel recently as I was on my way to Scotland. The hotel is really close to the train station, literally a 5 minute walk. The first thing you notice as you walk into the hotel is the reception - which is big. This hotel is newly built so it smells nice too! The rooms are nice, big and clean. Despite this hotel being a high-rise there is minimal upstairs noises and we enjoyed a good night's sleep. The hotel is also close to the city centre (on the southern side of the city) and definitely within walking distance. We had breakfast there too - not cheap but very good! One thing to note though - make sure the room you are staying in has heating! It was in January when we turned up and the room we were given had a faulty heating system! We were speedily allocated a second room so no problems there - but just make sure you check! Summary: Good hotel all round. |
