Ok for a short stay (Liverpool Marriott Hotel South)

Advantages: Next to airport

Disadvantages: Bad food

This is quite an odd hotel - its next to the airport and a retail park so quite convenient but is no where near the centre of liverpool and would cost about £15 in a txi to get there.

THe leisure facilities are very good - free use of the david lloyd leisure centre next door which has tennis courts, squash courts, gym and a bit swimming pool.

The food - one word really edible but not a nice and very fatty/greasy but better than damons which is the restaurant outside incredibly greasy!

The service - very good - nice friendly reception and helpful staff.

The rooms - ageing a bit , comfy bed, you sink into it but it was tricky to get out as was actually very comfy.

The bathroom was nice - on the executive floor there is a free lounge with drinks which is nice.

Breakfast was ok but nothing to write home about.

Overall ok for one night 2 at a push but no longer unless you have dinner plans every night. Other key point being that there is no business centre just one very old computer with an even older printer!
