The Moathouse Hotel holds many memories for many families in Liverpool for me i started my career here and have never looked back. This was a truley wonderful place to work and experience the wonderful humour and genuine hospitality of the people of liverpool.Wow what and experience one i will treasure for ever.

Whilst pretty well run, this was one of those 60's hotels built from a kit of bland parts that struggled to be anything more than run of the mill. It struggles no more as it has been demolished to make way for the huge Liverpool One development by Grosvenor. Look out for the big opening sometime late 2007 on. Meanwhile, there are plenty of established and new hotels with a bucketful of apppeal compared to the old Moat House, with the Hope Street Hotel top of the list at the moment.
