Newest Review: ... will even go as far as saying it's pretty ugly. It looks like a council estate block of flats, so was rather disappointed when we came across that and our expectations took a big dive. However, never judging a book by it's cover and all that, we stepped inside the lobby. The doorman, who obviously looked at us as lower class scum coming into his upper class abode, did not open the door for us or even acknowledge us. Recently, my wife surprised me with a short trip to London, requiring us to stay in a hotel for 1 night. For some reason, she chose to stay at the Hilton on Park Lane. The Hilton is located on the lower end of Park Lane and overlooks not only Hyde Park on one side, but Green Park and Buckingham Palace on another side. It is situated very close to 2 tube stations, both approximately a 5 minute gentle stroll away. I don't know how much my wife paid for the room, but I know it was considerably cheaper than booking it through the hotel itself. Just checking their website and the cheapest rate I found was £244 for one night!! So top tip, go to Expedia and book through ..  Read the complete review
