I used to live in Harpenden, near Luton, and of course this area, Luton in particular, is not noted for it's holiday spots. However, Luton can boast to have one of the best hotels in the country. I was there a few years ago on a business trip, and the Hotel I'm referring to is Luton Hoo. This is is a luxury five-star hotel with an 18 hole golf course, a spa and over 1,000 acres of parkland and gardens created by the famous landscape designer Capability Brown.
