Lynwood Hotel Southport - Beware single supplements.
We stayed for a one night I rang to alter our booking arrangements, requesting a single room instead of a twin, along with two other rooms. I was not informed at the time that there would be a single supplement, but was told that my son would be put in a single. My son ws put in a double room and when I queried this was told they have no singles but would be charged £15.00 for a single supplement. I should have been informed of this when I rang. Also had to forego the deposit of £20.00 for the person who could not come with us,(this was fair enough as it was stipulated there would be no refunds). So effectively I could have not bother to ring and alter the rooms we had requested as I was charged the same any way. We were also told that we had been allocated the wrong room, but as we were only staying one night couldn't be bothered to change.
