The Compleat Angler Hotel is in Marlow, Buckinghamshire and has a wonderfully picturesque setting by the River Thames and I can recommend it as the perfect location for a one or two night short break.. My friend and I had been walking a great deal the day before exploring the culture, colleges and the history of Oxford, we were exhausted as we had only stopped for one drink all day , unable to relax as there was so much to see and so many bookshops to explore. So we decided that as Marlow was so nearby it would be an ideal relaxed stopover on our way back to London, not least because we it would be a scenic drive. We paid £150 one nights bed and breakfast-it is pricey- . Read the complete review
