The Macdonald Manchester is my favourite hotel in the UK. I've stayed there twice and despite normally being a Crowne Plaza girl, I absolutely love this hotel! It has everything you would expect from a luxury hotel and more. Right, first thing's first - location. The Macdonald Manchester is ideally located for exploring Manchester - it is in the city centre just across the road from Manchester Piccadilly, which is the main train station you arrive into from many places in the UK (including London).
