Newest Review: ... a table and two chairs. There was a large window overlooking the car park at the far side of the room and to the right of this was a large built in wardrobe. The room itself looked quite recently renovated with beige carpets, cream walls, rich red blankets and dark mahogany furniture giving quite a luxurious impression to the room. The bed in particular was wonderful; they actually put a duvet under the fitted sheet so when you get into bed it's so comfy and almost like being in a little nest! The room's all come with air conditioning and heating which you control using a small panel on the wall which meant I could set the temperature exact... more

Last week I stayed at the Manchester Airport Marriott Hotel while attending a training session for my current job. Despite living in Manchester my company offered to put me up for the night so who was I to turn down a bit of luxury, not to mention some peace and quiet away from home! Marriott is an international brand which has been around since 1927 although their first hotel was not opened until 1969 in Mexico. There are now over 2,800 Marriott hotels around the world creating a name that is present in over 70 countries.
