“ Public House. Stretfield Road, Bradwell, Hope Valley, Derbyshire, S33 9JT. „
If you are out and about in North Derbyshire and fancy a good traditional pub meal then the New Bath Hotel is the place to go. This pub is situated on the B6049, on the south side of the village of Bradwell. There is a small car park next to the pub and also one on the opposite side of the road. The pub is traditionally decorated and has a very welcoming atmosphere of a good old fashioned, very well run pub. Meals are served both at lunch times and in the evenings and these are very popular. Almost everybody who comes into the pub is there for a meal and the pub does get busy, especially on Sunday lunchtimes. Don?t let this put you off, as if you do have to wait a short while to get a table, it is worth while. There is a choice of about 30 main courses, the majority of which are in the price range £3 - £4.50 and include Toad in the Hole, Roast Turkey, Quiche, Fish, Steaks, Pies, Gammon and many more. Most of the meals are served with chips and a couple of vegetables or a salad. The food is freshly cooked, hot and very tasty. Apart from when the pub is really full the food is normally served quite quickly, with a choice of sauces or condiments. The meals are certainly excellent value, but if you fancy a bit more there is a choice of about half a dozen starters and about a dozen desserts. The main beers in the pub are Tetley Bitter and Carlsberg Lager. This is an excellent pub, with great food. I just hope I don?t regret telling you all about it, as I want to make sure I can still get a table there on my next visit.
